Who We Are

Church leaders gathered in West Africa for training

Samaritan Strategy West Africa

Since the foundational Vision Conference in Ghana in 1999, Samaritan Strategy West Africa (SSWA) has equipped local churches to bring wholistic transformation to communities across the region.

We partner with the Disciple Nations Alliance (DNA) and the Harvest Foundation to train pastors and lay leaders in biblical worldview, wholistic ministry principles, and community restoration through self-sustaining Seed Projects.

Headquartered in Accra, Ghana, SSWA serves as the regional hub for West Africa—including Togo, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Benin, Niger, Nigeria, Mali, Guinea, and beyond. Our vision is to see the church move beyond being a "walled-in" institution to becoming God's primary instrument for redeeming and transforming every sphere of society.

Feel the Faith

In the raw trenches of a broken world, the Samaritan Strategy rises not as theory, but as heartbeat. It refuses tidy charity from afar; instead, it kneels in the dust beside the wounded, binds real wounds with real hands, and risks reputation to love without borders. This is faith with skin on—fierce, costly, unapologetic. It doesn’t wait for permission or perfect conditions. It moves. It touches. It stays. And in every act of courageous nearness, the watching world finally feels what faith actually is: relentless, incarnational love that refuses to pass by on the other side.

Leading by Faith: Dr. Chris Ampadu

Dr. Chris Ampadu serves as the West Africa Director for Samaritan Strategy, in partnership with the Harvest Foundation and the Disciple Nations Alliance.

Since the early days of DNA training, he has equipped thousands of pastors, elders, and lay leaders in biblical worldview, Kingdom principles, and wholistic ministry. His work focuses on community restoration through dynamic, church-led Seed Projects that promote lasting transformation.

With a PhD in International Development and decades of frontline experience, Dr. Ampadu leads from Ghana as the regional hub, building networks across West Africa and beyond. He challenges cultural strongholds, trains leaders to see the church as God's instrument for redeeming society, and has helped equip over 30,000 leaders across the region.
